My Healing Journey
Years ago my health was so poor that I felt close to stepping off this planet. In 1988, I got the flu and simply never recovered. I felt sick and weak day after day for four years, during which span of time I saw dozens of doctors and tried numerous methods and medications to get myself well.
In 1992, after trying everything she could medically recommend, my MD at that time suggested that I see a homeopath as “homeopathy works for a lot of people”. Seeing I had nothing left to lose, I followed up with her referral.
After an in-depth consultation with the homeopath wherein we discussed my health concerns, my emotional state and my family health history, I was given a number of tiny white pellets and told to place them under my tongue then go sit in the waiting room for a while. Within minutes after taking the remedy I felt a shift in my energy. I felt energetic and alive again! This heightened state lasted for about 24 hours, after which my body began the healing process in earnest. Some days were really good days and other days were slow days, but in this process I was seeing progress for the better. My body was recovering on a deep level and regaining homeostasis aka a healthy balance.
Once my recovery was complete, I knew I wanted to educate myself about this remarkable type of medicine. My research eventually led me to enroll in Pacific Academy of Medicine, Berkeley, CA. In 1996, I graduated as a professional Certified Homeopath.
